In the event of a gas leak in your home, you MUST call your designated emergency response from your local gas company or local authorities. They will shut off the gas in your home and the spot of the leak. Once completed, call AHW and request service for a gas leak.
 
COVERED : Leaks and breaks of gas line or valve, except if caused by roots within the perimeter of your property.
 
EXCLUDED: All piping outside the perimeter of the property, the collapse of the gas line, damage caused by a foreign object Meter moves or replacements except when required by local code; appliances, fixtures, systems not supplied by a utility or propane provider, restoration of interior surfaces to their original state, line repair or replacement located within the public right of way or that are your utility company’s responsibility, replacement of any artificial grass or plants, restoration to water structures, pastures or wooded areas; Costs on covered repairs may exceed the benefit limit, in which case you pay the difference between the cost and the benefit limit.
